THE BLACK VORTEX - FINEMODS X ONEWATCHJUSTISNTENOUGH 

There’s something really special about turning someone’s vision into reality — and this build with Steve, aka @onewatchjustisntenough, was one of those rewarding ones.

We teamed up to create a custom diver that’s clean, sharp, and finished with just the right amount of golden detail. The result? A piece that’s subtle, classy, and definitely stands out.

Design Vision

Steve was very clear about one thing: he didn’t want the watch to be all-out gold. Instead, we went with golden details only where they count — the dial, hands, and bezel. These small touches elevate the whole look without overdoing it. Balanced, tasteful, and versatile.

Textured Marine Dial + Dual Lume

We opted for a textured Marine dial with golden indices on this one, which adds a beautiful layer of depth and character. The watch also features a dual lume setup — glowing in two tones that bring the whole build to life in the dark. It’s one of those things you don’t see often, and it gives this diver its own unique personality.

Crystal & Strap Choice

A double-domed sapphire crystal tops it off, giving that smooth vintage curve and clarity from all angles. We paired it with a solid 5-link bracelet and an additional CTS rubber strap for a more refined and comfortable wear — definitely one of the highlights of the final piece.

Power & Performance

Inside, the watch is powered by the ever-reliable NH35 automatic movement. It also features a polished chapter ring that reflects just the right amount of light to add that extra bit of shine.
